Course 4
Face what matters, move with wisdom, and lead with courageous presence, so the hard conversation stops quietly waiting for someday.
Recognize when you're avoiding a conversation that actually needs to happen.
Name what matters instead of talking around it.
Move through fear and discomfort with wisdom instead of waiting for it to disappear.
Lead with honesty and integrity, even when it costs you something in the moment.
Build the kind of courageous presence that makes hard conversations easier for everyone involved.
Notice the conversations and truths you've been quietly avoiding.
Understand what avoidance is actually protecting, and what it's costing you and others.
Learn the difference between reckless honesty and courageous, well-timed truth.
Practice saying the hard thing in a way that builds trust instead of breaking it.
Develop the steadiness that lets you stay in the room when the conversation gets hard.
A Note Before You Begin
Awaken to Presence is designed to create meaningful change, not simply give you more information.
Resist the temptation to move quickly through the courses. Instead, give yourself time to absorb what you are learning and notice how it connects to your own thoughts, emotions, relationships, and everyday experiences.
I recommend moving through each course at a pace of no more than two lessons per week, allowing at least a day or two between lessons to review your notes, reflect on what stood out to you, and practice what you are learning.
For most courses, plan on spending at least two weeks working through the material. The Joy-Fueled Leader is a longer course, so give yourself additional time to move through it thoughtfully.
Included With the Bundle
If you purchased the complete Awaken to Presence bundle, you also have four individual coaching sessions included with the program. These sessions are an opportunity to take the learning even deeper by exploring what is coming up for you, applying the concepts to your own life and leadership, and getting support as you put what you are learning into practice.
The more space you give yourself to reflect, practice, and engage with the material, the more likely it is to move beyond something you understand intellectually and become part of how you actually live, lead, and relate to others.
Emotional Courage is built on the Present Process Model. You'll start by building real awareness of what you've been avoiding and why, which creates space to choose a wiser response than silence or overreaction. That space is where choice lives, and repeated choice, practiced daily, is what becomes lasting change in how courageously you show up.
